Should I belong to a gym?

It’s not necessary. Every muscle group can be worked out with few or no pieces of equipment. You can become fit and stay fit without ever setting foot inside a gym. I meet many of my clients in their homes and other non-gym locations and bring my own equipment. If you like, I can advise you on a few items that you can acquire and easily store at home. On the other hand, some people like to go to the gym or mix up their exercise program with a workout at home or outdoors and a gym workout. Many of the machines at the gym are good for isolating certain muscle groups, which may be useful for someone who is new to weight training, recovering from an inactive phase or unable to go outside. I personally like working out in the great outdoors. It comes down to whatever motivates you. This is about you.

What results can I expect?

Each individual is different. Aside from our individual physiological differences, there are many factors that influence how quickly or to what degree you will accomplish your goals, including your activities outside of our sessions, how often you exercise and the extent to which you challenge yourself. Based on my personal experience, if you have never worked out with a personal trainer before, or if it's been a while, you may surprise yourself! Whatever your goal, I’m here to assist. Many of my clients stay with me after they reach their goals.
